Our journey at CMG WRITING
We started this website in July 2026 after gaining a degree in Creative Writing & History. This was the push to take that first step into sharing our stories with a wider audience. We love storytelling and we would love for you to join us on this journey. We're excited, nervous and terrified of what's ahead but we know this is exactly what we want to do.
Our inspiration: a lifelong love of reading
We love getting lost in a book and falling into another world for a while. Understanding and coming to love characters has been with us from childhood. We want to bring you stories that will bring comfort, laughter and sometimes leaving you with questions long after you've read them. We hope you come back to our stories, more than once, and we love getting feedback from everyone!
Experience emotion, escape reality
Everyone can be busy with daily life. Our stories can be a quick 5 minute read (for those who read fast) and for others, a 20 minute story while you're on your way home from work (not driving, of course!) and allow your brain to switch off and become a part of the story for however long it takes you. We'll keep bringing stories as much as we can and if there's anything you'd love us to add, change or consider, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Our vision: sharing the joy of storytelling
At CMG Writing, we have a dream in mind - to become a published author. We understand doing it on our own these days is the route a lot of people go (we haven't ruled it out and are working on our own trilogy in the background) but for now, we have great joy in the stories we create and we're looking to share some of that to everyone we can.
